In Spiritual Direction, you can talk freely about your life, faith, doubts and questions. Whatever you share will be met with gentleness and respect giving you space to be with whatever is current for you.
Together we ask, “Where is Spirit / God in this?” Together we listen through our conversation and through welcoming silence.
My role is to hold space for you to explore with courage. I reflect what I observe you say and do and ask searching questions. It's a process that releases invaluable insight.
It’s a relationship where you can face into challenging situations and express strong emotions when they arise. Sharing your experiences of faith, the meaning of life, your purpose or vocation is validating, allowing you to hold them more lightly and to consider other perspectives.
There's a world of poets and wisdom writers, from across the ages and globe who have wrestled with similar questions of life. Where relevant, we share their teachings which help welcome uncertainty as an valuable aspect of faith.
We can also explore embodied practices to help you welcome and celebrate the wonder and mystery of life in all it's complexity.
Spiritual Direction is a relationship that encourages you to be more loving towards yourself, others and Spirit / God.

The Practicalities
